It has been my observation that Americans just cannot get enough mayonnaise. It is a staple of hundreds, if not thousands, of dressings and sauces.

Mayonnaise

Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 Tbsp white vinegar
  • ½ Tsp Dry Mustard Powder
  • ¼ Tsp salt
  • 2 cups Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Bring all ingredients to room temperature before blending.
  2. Combine eggs, vinegar, mustard powder, and salt in a mixing bowl. Mix with a food processor.
  3. Pour oil in very slowly, with the processor running, until mayonnaise is smooth.
