About Cloud Huxley
Keeping it Bossy
Since 1985
Cloud learned to code her first website in 1999 using Windows Notepad text editor and Internet Explorer browser. In time, she would learn to upgrade her tools. In 2002, during her junior year of high school, Cloud built her first desktop computer. Fast forward to 2007, Cloud performed her first dual-boot with Windows and Ubuntu, introducing her to the Linux environment.
Cloud is not just a full stack developer, she can build the bare-metal servers these projects run on. Cloud is ambitious about her future in building sustainable technology to reduce her carbon & digital footprints.

Guiding Values
Moral values do not just set a standard for behavior, but also help with decision making and daily operations. The following are my guiding values:
- 1
Authority Based on Expertise
When it comes to writing code, the results are self-evident. It works as designed or it does not. The accumulated hours in which I have spent troubleshooting errors, reading documentation, and starting over from scratch have allowed the opportunity for personal growth, as well as the strengthening of my skills.
- 2
Dedication to Quality
I have high standards when it comes to visual elements of a web page. Every detail matters. I put my best work forward because I want to feel proud of my role in creating art for clients.
- 3
Business Trade Based on Mutual Respect
I will not knowingly do business with people who demonstrate that their values align with White Supremacy, Transphobia, Heterosexism, Xenophobia, or Antisemitism. Intolerant people have broken the social contract that keeps polite society intact, and are not welcome to my business. Community-building is important to me, and I cannot work with, or promote, those that would infringe on my inalienable rights.
- 4
Free Association Builds Better Relationships
We may do business, and you may be a repeat customer, or not. What is more important to me is that we are comfortable collaborating with each other, as well as inspired by each other to create the best possible work.
- 5
Value is Mutable
My labor means different things to different people. My rate of labor is subject to change. I am willing to give up as much of my profits towards reparations as agreed upon. I am also willing to barter. I would like to dedicate a portion of my labor towards helping those in my community who need it.
- 6
Integrity is Non-Negotiable
Integrity checks help computers eliminate errors, and so, too, does having integrity eliminate unnecessary problems. My projects and my business relations are built with security and confidence in mind.
